Overview
About Me
I studied and finished Arts management, then I did my Master's degree in Electronic culture and semiotics, Charles University in Prague. I am about to focus my future academic efforts on social geography and philosophy of space.
Currently, I work as data analyst, harvesting the ripe fruits of social media, but I also work for Arts Institute and I strive to master the art of cider making and start legit business (->Easy Cider)
Apart from all that, I am quite an outgoing, a little bit adventurous guy who is interested in everything which he does not consider dumb, non-ethical etc. When I travel, I usually want to get to know the local, real side of the place, to discover the underground vibes and all the things which are usually hidden to ordinary tourists. When I am in my hometown, I try to introduce the visitors to similar stuff, but that does not mean I would not recommend them the essential sights and monuments of Prague (or even the Czech Republic). I just know them too well, therefore the touristy stuff in Prague is not really my thing.
And I love to drink.

Music, Movies, and Books
cold wave, rap, black and doom metal, industrial, dark/neofolk, oldschool punk and hc, new trends in electronic music, classical...pretty much anything which does not hurt my ears (not speaking about extreme noise, but taste)
Every book that is intelligent or at least readable and enjoyable without being plainly stupid. I read a lot of quite difficult stuff for my studies, thererefore I find fiction literature as something luxurious and rare (unfortunately).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Survivor: i have survived a critical fall on stairs below when i slided a rail as a child.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I live alone in a way too small apartment to accomodate more than one visitor, therefore it is kind of tricky, but I can try my best.)
I can definitely share all the secrets and hidden gems of Prague. Quite undergound stuff. I am not sure if I am a good guide, but I know tons of things about my city. I love pubs and I daresay I have been to all the essential pubs and bars in Prague. I am walking embodiment of the Use-It guides to my city.
if you use a translator app, you might check my reviews on stuff in Prague at my Yelp profile (I have over 300 reviews, I believe they are both amusing and informative). Here you go: hochficht.yelp.cz
