About Me
ig: gustavosantamaria89
Hi, my name is Gustavo. I’m a lifelong learner with a strong curiosity about people, cultures, and ideas. I enjoy exploring new topics and experiences, especially those that involve being outdoors.
I love hiking, traveling, and spending time in nature, partly because they are ways of exploring the world and constantly learning something new. I also enjoy photography, and I’m currently learning videography and video editing as creative ways to document places, stories, and everyday life.
I value thoughtful conversations, cultural exchange, and meaningful connections while traveling.😊
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve traveled and stayed in hotels and hostels before, but I’ve found that they don’t always allow you to fully immerse yourself in a place. Couchsurfing offers something different: the opportunity to connect with locals, understand their daily lives, and experience a destination beyond the tourist perspective.
For me, Couchsurfing is about cultural exchange, shared stories, and learning from one another. It’s a way to travel with intention and curiosity rather than just passing through.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy sharing conversations, travel stories, and cultural perspectives. I can help with English or Spanish conversation practice, exchange ideas about education, travel, photography, or history, and I’m always happy to explore nature, go for a walk, or share a meal.
I value respect, openness, and good communication, and I try to be a considerate and curious guest.
