Overview
About Me
I studied French language and literature at UNAM and I love to know about other cultures and visit different countries.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet new people and new places.
Interests
I recently got back to practice swimming after a hiatus of 10 years and it feels great. I love chess and I'm always available for a game of chess. I like poetry; I translate poems that I really like from English or French to Spanish sometimes. I've been working as a freelance translator for some time. Also I'm a big fan of cinema and music from all over the word. I'm interested in learning about other cultures and languages. And I think that through music and cinema I've known something but I'm positive that there's no better way to know about other cultures than travelling to other countries.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Pulp, Momus, Sparks. Books: L'avaleé des avalés, L'hiver de force, both by Réjean Ducharme. My favorite poet is John Ashbery. I like many films but recently I'm more into Éric Rohmer and westerns like Once upon a time in the west.
