Hey! I'm Gideon, easy going, enthusiastic with a passion for travel, science and food. I have just completed a study abroad at McGill university in Montreal and I'm taking in the rest of Canada and the USA!

Currently living in LA. Looking to meet others :)

For me travel is more than going from one place to another. As much as you explore a country's landscapes it's just as beautiful and interesting to be immersed amongst it's people, traditions and languages. Humans are like boats; made to sail and not sit at harbour to rust!

I'm a nerd and proud so when I'm in a different place I like to combine travel with learning all I can about that new place and stories from locals and share it with others!

I'm involved in film making, and really enjoy making documentaries and short movies. I train in gymnastics and love to rollerblade- in fact I am travelling with my pair of skates at the moment- they're heavy but so worth it!

A big part of travelling is meeting the locals. It's my first time in North America and I want to get as much out of this trip as possible. I am also a student so the option of free accommodation is an attractive one ;)

When I return home, I'd like to host other travellers so I would also like to see how others do it.

I'm fascinated by the cosmos so I stargaze with and without a telescope, study astronomy and astrophysics. If you asked me what job I want most I'd say Astronaut in a heartbeat.

I studied the flamenco guitar in Spain and continue to play. I havent had a guitar with me in Canada so I am craving it!

I like learning new languages that will enable me to communicate with as many different people as possible.
Considering my background, I am currently studying Arabic and would be very happy to teach some to a host!

I can teach you what I know about music, science, cooking, cool english slang (and Mexican slang) and Jewish jokes. I would love to teach low-level arabic and share my passion of astronomy!

I want to hear about your culture and traditions, funny quips in your language like phrases, jokes or slang. Whatever you do, or are passionate/interested in, funny or shocking stories... I don't have big ears for nothing!
