After not traveling much at all during my twenties, the fever got me on a two month trip during 2012. This culminated in me and my lovely partner Katrin going on a long trip around the world.

When living in Berlin, I work as a freelance software developer, helping large companies with their internet businesses.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy both traveling and meeting new people. When getting to know local people, it's possible to get a much deeper insight into different cultures. This is actually true, wether you are a host or a guest.

With a platform like couch surfing, it is much easier to meet those like-minded people than relying on your chances. Which, frankly, also sometimes was the case already :)

Interests

Besides my obvious interest in traveling and everything internet related, I enjoy all kinds of cultural thing. Be it going to museums or art galleries, watching a good movie, seeing a play at the theatre or attending a concert or a night at a music club.
