Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't quite remember how I started to use CS : it was during my Erasmus in Istanbul but I do not know from where that idea came from. I just remember using it for my first travel alone along the North coast of Turkey and that was quite an experience.
The more I grow, the more I understand and need more than a touristic guide to visit a place, indeed I believe it is not about simply visiting but about meeting, understanding and feeling. That what travel means for me and I don't see myself doing it another way.
