Über mich
Hello. I am Paulina Šalaševičiūtė. I was born and raised in Lithuania, but currently I am living in Malta. I came here after I have graduated with Photography degree in Lithuania in order to volunteer. I am working at NSTS Malta English language institute and aiming to travel around Malta whilst making some video projects about the most exciting places of the country and its culture.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
During my volunteering in Malta I have one more goal - to meet diferent people from various corners of the world in order to share experiences and expand my knowledge about the world. I believe that sometimes we do not even need to travel the entire world, as we can simply experiene it just via people and friendship.
Whilst living here I have an idea to walk around the country by the coastline and to visit the most beautiful beaches and nature of Malta. I will do it tohether with my friend/colleague who I am working with in Malta and we want to make this trip by foots only. Our dream is to make a movie about the whole trip . So that’s why I want to couchsurf in Malta. We are planning to make this trip in 6 nights and 7 days. We have already planned all the places that we are going to cross and we really hope to find kind people who could host us in their home and help us to acheive our goal and at the same time will contribute to the final result – the movie.
Interessen
The main interest I am pasionate about is videography and photography. However, I believe the world is much bigger than we think and have so many things to offer that we can’t even imagine. That’s why I am always open to new activities, interests and experiences in my life.

Musik, Filme und Bücher
One of my most favorite movies is "Forest Gump" story.
Regarding the books, it is really tough to say, as I have likely already read thousands of them, but if I need to choose a few, these are "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari" by Robin Sharma, “God Always Travels Incognito” by Laurent Gounelle and one of my most special books is a lovely one, "The Shack" by Wm. Paul Young.
Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann
I would love to share my experience about travelling. I am also good at listening to people and I am open-minded so I just like to have warm and friendly conversations with my hosts. I am also keen to make an interesting portrait of people who would like to host me.
