I'm a student. I studied Japanese studies for 2 years, at the KU Leuven! I dropped out because it was too hard, unfortunately

I studied graphical design and digital media at Arteveldehogeschool in Ghent.

I'm currently doing a degree in political and social sciences at KU Leuven.

I like to travel in my country and abroad. I like to discover and rediscover things. I love to make people smile with (funny or unexpected) stories from my own life or something historical, cultural or mythological! My references might give you a good idea about me.

I'm 23 years old. I'm a Flemish Belgian guy and I live near Brussels (15 min. away by train). If you want to meet me, message me and maybe we can figure something out!

I can't provide a place for you to stay the night though... Unless it's an emergency, obviously. Maybe in the future!

Interesses

I like to cook and I like to take photographs! I like to communicate with people, even when speaking a mutual language isn't an option.
I'd like to see the country/city I'm visiting from a local people's perspective.
I love to guide people, talk about (Belgian) history and culture in a global sense and a very local sense.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Music: Generally rock and alternative things. Recently I've been broaden up my interests and it's been an adventure which good and bad things. Pop/on the airwaves music occasionally interests me but it's not something I actually look for.

Movies: I don't watch that many movies, because I lack time or interest or both. When I do I usually quit after an hour. Occasionally a great movie pops up that captivates me... I'm also bad with titles so it's a bit difficult to remember them! I consume video content on the internet though and I love to watch series!

Books: I don't read that much, unless it's the news or articles on theoretical physics and mathematics and science in general. Recently I've also been interested in economics, politics, sociology, psychology and philosophy (and the history of all of the above). I also studied a whole lot of different subjects at the University.

— I once stayed with people whom I couldn't understand and vice versa. Google translate kind of made that situation better and funny too. But the body language and gestures said the most in that entire 4 day stay. I'll never forget them.

I'm an Android user! Used to write some code; nowadays only web based code like JavaScript, HTML5, etc.
I know some things about computers; not on a professional level though...
I lose my mind when people don't use keyboard shortcuts! I also am into graphic related things like animations, videos and photos.
I can take a decent photo. Even though I'm incredibly hard on myself it has helped me to improve. And I've also been so hard on myself that I haven't touched my camera in months, so that's the opposite side of the self criticism...

I teach English/French/Dutch on the side. My students are mainly Chinese young adults, whom I teach online through an app. It has made me a better person, I think and broadened my perspective on the world.
