I'm Remie from Rotterdam. My friends describe me as a social, open minded and cheerful guy.

I love to meet people and shares stories with them. On weekdays I'm working at an educational centre for arts, dance and music. I love to hang out with friends, visit new places, find out new recipes and work on my creative skills. I like writing, reading, gardening and yoga.

I'm happy to live in Rotterdam and share that with others. It's the second largest city in the country. It's famous for its architecture, public spaces, harbour, art and design scene. If I have the opportunity and time to show it to you I'll certainly do that.

Studying abroad gave me much more knowledge about myself than before. That brings me to one of the main reasons why I participate in this network of couch surfers. I like making friends with different cultural backgrounds.

I'd like to learn more from other people's culture. Share thoughts on art, cities, food and personal goals. I'd like to show my guest some of the less touristy things in Rotterdam and teach them what the Dutch word "gezelligheid" means.
