ABOUT ME

Hello, couchsurfers. I may introduce myself first. My name is Marvie, I am almost 24 years old, was born and raised in the philippines, and now live in Vienna, Austria to study biotechnology.
If I meet new people, I always tell them about my childhood.I use to grow up until 15 in a small village more or less a small tribe in the middle of the rain forest south to the Philippines.

I am the youngest of my family and the gap between me and my second youngest brother is about 14 years so my mother decided to give me pet in order to play with me. She mother gave me a macaque as pet. I named him KAHEL(phil. for "ORANGE") I have no idea why I gave him that name but he got used to it. We use to play a lot together, he is in my age so we grew up together, played, made worse things, and stole bananas from the neighbor together.

The time I had to leave the Philippines, I was really sad that I couldnt take KAHEL with me, I also saw in his face how desperate he was, so what he did and this I will never forget in my whole life ever is, he put some bananas under my bag pack and that´s why i always want to tell people about my childhood.

Now I have to describe myself:
I´m a very happy guy, very satisfied with my friends, my colleagues and specialy with my family. I really feel awkward describing myself but what I heard from my friends that Im very funny, it might be true or they just dont want to hurt my feelings. I just to want see people around me smiling, so I think that is why I always tell freshening jokes.

I love sports specially extremesports like mountainbiking, parachuting, extreme scuba diving, mountain climbing etc. and it´s the only way how to make "HIGH" without taking any drugs.

Last but not least is I love to sing and to play the guitar basically with classical music actually more on pop but classic is my passion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard from a friend that there is something like couchsurfing and he explained me everything about it and then I became mo interesting how people voluteering to let use their flat to host unknown people.
