About Me
Have decided not to take any new requests for the time being, but will reach out to travelers sometimes.
Born and raised in Stockholm, I have spent most of my life here.
Life has a way of getting stuck in routines, and travelling is a good way of un-sticking it. Dunno were the wind takes me next, will consider guests while planning my next trip.
I live alone in a 3 room flat fairly close to the centre of Stockholm, but also near to the ocean and forested areas.
Running, climbing, cooking and craft beer are magic words. Use them the right way and I wont be hard to persuade to host =)
I like cats but avoid dogs unless I know the owner; it tends to hurt more than a little when they bite.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel and also to meet new interesting people. Does it have to be more complicated than that?
Interests
I spend most of my spare time doing sports, mainly running, biking and climbing but I'll try anything!
My main sport is medium to long distance running, doing that you get hungry. Since tasty food is obviously better than bad food, cooking is also an interest I have. Baking sour dough bread and brewing beer are probably the odder ends of that interest.
Music is also important to me, but I'm absolutely useless at producing any kind of it myself, so Spotify is my saviour and almost constant companion.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music wise what's good depends on the mood. Classic rock like Ramones, Maiden ZZtop works most of the time. Sometimes SHM or Avicci is what I need, but it could also be gamma ray, nomy or monster magnet. Every now and again jazz or classical music is the thing. It all depends =)
With movies it depends on the purpose, do I want to relax or to learn or feel something? A lot of the time, relax is the goal which ends me up with a B-action. Sometime though a bit of thinking is good, the schindlers list, the avatar, the gladiator or inception are better choices. Yet other times a feel-good high school movie can be the right thing, though that honestly does not happened that often.
Books I read will be mostly fiction/fantasy for R&R but occasional variations do occur; Crime and educational stuff can also be nice.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent 5 months backpacking and hiking through New Zeeland at one point. That was great, I hope to be able to do something similar again.
I completed my first marathon a couple of years back. I was half dead after 30k, but finished the race. Could not stand up properly for days afterwards and vowed not to do it again, but have competed regularly since.
Teach, Learn, Share
A normal onion becomes an amazing thing if you oven-cook it for 5 hours with a bit of EVOO.
If your fridge has less than 5 kinds of cheese and 15 kinds of beer, it's empty.
An average of 1h of cardio per day will make you feel good.
2 hours will let you improve at a good rate, but also makes you tired.
3 hours may hurt and will force you to eat 5 meals a day.
2 hours is a good amount :)
