I've traveled a bit and so far I've never had a bad journey so I doubt they exist! There have been times when I've struggled; lost wallets, phones, passports, luggage etc but I've found that during those times you get reminded of how helpful people are. It doesn't matter where you are, or what language you speak, you are never alone.

I love the vibe of CS people and how it opens up possibilities for both temporary and longer lasting friendships.

Interests

Strolling is what I love to do when traveling to cities. In the early morning, before the city has woken up. In Rome, the shop keepers and market vendors were setting up their stalls ... during the day when a city is alive and running, all cities have their own rhythms, don't they? And at night of course! When in Tel Aviv I was surprised to see that what at daytime had seemed to be nothing but a part of the city with grey storage spaces and construction work, now showed a bustling nightlife with bars, people, live music and an incredible atmosphere.
I love languages and make it my mission when going to a new place to learn at least a few words and phrases in the local language.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My best trip was to Petra in Jordan. Hours of walking around the ruin city with a bedouin was amazing, watching the sun rise over the desert ... Incredible!
