Well, overall, I’m a relatively nice guy, I must confess :)

I must also confess that I sometimes may look a bit awkward and shy… And well I guess this is mostly due to the fact that I, indeed, may sometimes be shy and awkward!, or at least a part of this “I”… But don’t worry, I increasingly tend to forget this part of myself, and anyway, obviously I’m OK you know :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m new here… I want to discover a new way of travelling, more human and open… I’d like to get out of this comfort zone, trust and open myself, meet people, communicate, exchange…

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : Serge Gainsbourg, Brassens, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Joao Gilberto... Rather the subtle/poetic kind of music... But I also like it when it gets purely funky/groovy and percussive!!!

Books : I am not the greatest reader, but I recently discovered Haruki Murakami, and I like his style ! I'm also interested in mindfulness-related litterature, Eckhart Tolle, buddhist teachings on ehtics, awareness, meditation... Stress reduction is an issue, I must confess :)

Cinema : quite eclectic tastes... Tarantino, Hitchcock, Spielberg, Tati.......

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quitting my comfortable job in a translation company with age 32 to make a music school (jazz)... But well, it was kind of a... fail! (stress..........)
