I'm a truly tranquil person, trying to make my life evermore coherent with my beliefs. In a process of constant discovery of the political aspects of my lifestyle choices, and therefore learning to let go of my privileges and preconceptions and to embrace the complexity and abundance that lies beyond them - becoming at once more free and more responsible. This involves having a different experience with time, space, myself and other people and creating transformative relationships based on connection, care and reciprocation, which exceed the production-consumption binomial.

I'm also a vegetarian, an art + film lover, an enthusiast of agroforestry, bioconstruction, cooking, DIY and all self-sufficiency related matters - and I can't live without my daily Yoga practice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently doing an independent research project on cooperative economy and sustainable living experiences aimed at documenting the transition from a culture of consumers into one of ecologically oriented and socially participative producers.

I have recently arrived in Europe after spending the recent months at different permaculture projects and agroforestry settlements in Brazil. Right now, I'm visiting ecovillages and communities that strive for self-sufficiency throughout Europe as a working guest and making short documentaries about them. In between these stays, I sometimes have to travel far and stop in different cities for a couple of days. And this is an amazing opportunity to get to know fantastic people, exchange viewpoints and learn new ways of life!
