Hola! I have thrown in the towel after working as an engineer for three years and am looking to learn about bee keeping and goats cheese making. I am planning on making my way without direction through Europe until December before heading to Central America through the winter. I have a tent though a couch is nice sometimes too.

I signed up with couchsurfing with an aim of meeting and staying with locals who can share some insights and cultural experiences with myself. In the past we have hosted visitors from Europe, Asia and North America.

Volunteering in The Jungle refugee camp in Calais for three weeks was one of, if not the most unforgettable experience I've had. There were so many incredible people, both refugees and volunteers, making the most of a terrible situation.
