Overview
About Me
I was born in this quite-boring-but-i-love-it town between Barcelona and Tarragona that's famous for the Cava (alcoholic champagne-type beverage) and been living here since then with my family, my cats and my turtle.
I studied a degree in Industrial Design in Barcelona, then worked there for almost three years until I discovered something was missing in me and I left my job to find out.
I am mainly vegetarian, if I am desesperate I can eat some fish, and I eat (probably) illegal amounts of cheese. I for sure don't mind anyone eating their steaks, but if you hunt a duck in front of me, I'll freak out :)
I LOVE travelling by train. They're so cool, environmentally friendly and comfortable and you can see the landscape through the window as you go...amazing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was about to travel Germany for 10 days on May 2015, I wanted to meet with locals because the main aim of the trip was practise the language, so I joined the community, since really going around a place with someone that knows the essence of it makes it 1000x interesting and fun.
It really has been awesome, never boring and I guess that's the point. Met incredible people through CS, some of them I hope turned into friends for a lifetime.
Interests
From architecture to fashion, going through photography and painting... art is a matter of taste and I may find it beautiful or terrible, but it's always interesting.
Reading, reading, read.. devouring books and all kind of text.
Animals. If it's alive I will try to touch it, even If it can rip my hand off :)
Sports! I can't stay still until I'm exhausted, so I waste my energy like this -that doesn't mean I'm good at it - I work in the basketball world, swim as much as I can, and I am currently learning to inline skate (so. much. fun). I also like riding bikes and footing.
Languages. I love to talk, so I need more ways to express myself and learning new words it's the most fascinating method. Best part is swearing.
I guess I won't be in CS if I wasn't interested in travelling. But more than travelling for the pure sake of moving, what I'm really excited about is difference. Places I've never seen before, people I've never meet before, things that fuck my mind when I discover they exist.
Living whitout learning something new everyday won't work for me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not really a gender person, I just listen or watch things that make me feel something.
Like water feeds cells, music feeds the soul (if I believed in such thing as a soul), I don't think I'd be able to survive for a long time without it.
I am REALLY short-sighted because I read too much as a kid. Stories absorb me.
I like movies, but I end up watching more series. I've seen Dexter and Breaking Bad twice, and I also fancy My name is Earl, The big bang theory, Shameless, Black sails, The walking dead...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen the sunset from the Sahara desert. For someone who has trouble relaxing, that worked better than morphine. Oh! And the sunrise from the Arctic Polar Circle. :D
Also went to TV, a show about speaking catalan properly (YES i'm that kind of freak). Check the wonders of my beautiful mother language here: http://www.ccma.cat/tv3/alacarta/el-gran-dictat/el-gran-dictat-04032016/video/5587312/
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't think I am wise enough to teach anything, but I cook awesome scrambled eggs. And I can also make sangria :D
My strong points are grammar and ortography, specially in catalan and spanish. And I've been dealing, for good or for bad, with software like Autocad and Solidworks. I can share some of my tricks to not get damn crazy.
I'd like to practice german, or actually any language. I am also really excited about trying surf and climbing. And any advice about how to take things easy is welcome :)
