Hello future friend,
my name is Annette and I'm 26 years old. I just graduated from university with a highschool teaching degree. I grew up in a small town near Mannheim, Germany, after my a level I spent half a year in Dublin, Ireland, as an Aupair. In 2012, I studied abroad for 1 semester at the University of Connecticut and went to the Bahamas for spring break and also visited great cities in Canada and on the East Coast of CT. Those are the most recent travel experiences that I've had.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people and make new friends. During my exchange semester I experienced many awesome places and I'm looking forward to experiencing more!
I like to share this with locals I meet and do not only want to do tourist stuff. I want to see the real people and the real places. I do not want to come home and show photos to my friends that I've already seen on facebook 50 times.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hiphop, R&B, more stuff. I love movies based on comic books. I'm into Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit - one day, i really want to check out what's left of the set (Shire etc.).
In school, I basically read a vast array of German & British books from the 18th and 19th century. Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to read lately.
