About Me

Hello, hello! I am a Polish quantum PhD student living in Delft in the Netherlands. I love travelling and exploring different places hence I've been jumping a little bit around over the last few years. After finishing school in Poland I wanted to move to a more secluded place so I did my studies in Scotland with a year exchange in even less densely populated (but full of amazing nature) Canada. Being very fond of desolated places, I also did a short internship in an amazing Montana. Now I live in completely flat Netherlands with lot of people around, but I am also much closer to all the great travel destinations around!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very much interested in meeting new people both in the places where I travel and at home around Delft. I feel I have already had enough experiences of just travelling for the purpose of seeing all the "must-see" attractions. Now I feel much more interested in meeting new people from different backgrounds. In everyday life I mostly hang out with fellow scientists and so I find it very important to step outside of the physics bubble.

Interests

My interests are quite broad, on the academic side I am fascinated by science and philosophy. Then in order to avoid excessive thinking and getting mentally cornered I like escaping into nature, yoga, skiing (this is quite tricky in the Netherlands), hiking, Scottish Country Dancing (this is also not the easiest here), swimming, modern art, travelling, and finally spirituality, meditation and life in general...
