About Me

I am a baker by trade; traveler by choice; and a natural born dancer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Boston, attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst--where I got a taste for the outside world. Spending a semester abroad, as cliche as it sounds, was eye opening, instilling a want to see the what the rest of the world had to offer.

I am planning on moving out West in 2016 and am in no big rush to get there, I want to take the time to traverse my own country--original I know. However, it is why I have found myself on Couchsurfing; the best representation of a place is from the people that live there; I want to get to know my fellow Americans.

Although I am not starting my trip till next year, and can't accept guests at this time, I am more then happy to play tour guide to those coming into Boston. Feel free to message me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I tried Lamb intestines; I am a pretty picky eater who sticks to less exotic menu items so for me it was pretty amazing--and not half bad.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that it is important to be constantly learning, from books, people...well just life in general; its really true, you can learn something new everyday.

It is also important to me to try and teach as much as I can; I spent seven wonderful years as a swim instructor, dealing with children is not without its moments of rage, but more often then not helping a kid pass the deep end test is utterly gratifying.

We should all be open to learning and all be willing to teach; I like what the Dalai Lama said "Share your knowledge, its a way to gain immortality."

So if you would like to learn how to swim, make a mean batch of cookies, or some knock out dance moves let me know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share cooking and cleaning responsibilities, a good story, creative sensibilities, manual labor and moving help, nice penmanship, a calming demeanor, wicked sense of humor, an eclectic music selection, and good vibes.
