Overview
About Me
I guess you could call me a global citizen. I don't like restricting myself to just one place or country, but rather like to see where in the world I can create opportunities. I love adventure and seeing the world. I'm relatively extroverted, so I love meeting new people and going to new places. I'm a positive, happy, talkative person.
I studied to be a Bio and Environmental Engineer, started working as an engineer and realised I hated every moment of it. That's when I quit my job and travelled South America for a few months.
Now I'm in Finland again and have discovered a passion in teaching. Currently I'm living in Oulu and studying at the university to become a teacher.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Many of my friends have told me I should join. And so here I am. But no honestly what I love about CS and why I'm here is because I don't just want to be a tourist. I want to learn and experience the culture of places I see, and living with someone from there rather than staying in a hotel/ hostel is the best way to do this. Also I love meeting new awesome people and this is a great way to do this =)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The courage to listen to my heart and my Gut. It's taken me to quite some places with many stories to share.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share my ideas about life and this universe of ours, so let's get philosophical. I can also teach you how to play trumpet or piano and even violin, and now the Charango as well. Although now I don't have all my instruments with me anymore =( I love learning and experiencing more of this world. I'm always in the pursuit of knowledge.
Don't be afraid of living life. Don't think about what society demands, or tells you you're supposed to strive for. Forget about money. Forget about what people define as success. There's no such thing as normal.
Unless you change direction - you'll end up where you're heading.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation and deeper thoughts on life. Different viewpoints on life. Perspective. Stories ranging from the wilderness of Africa to the solitude of the Finnish forests.
Plus I have a piano so musical entertainment is always a possibility.
