About Me
You might find yourself asking, "Where are you from?" and I'd say "I'm from Indonesia"–– but you might find yourself asking again, "No, where are you REALLY from?". To avoid that confusion, let me answer that question here: my parents are of Chinese descent, and I barely have any biological trace of being Indonesia; guys, it's like being an American Born Chinese all over again, except that I'm Indonesian.
I'm pretty outgoing for someone who scores 75-ish % on introversion according to Myers Briggs personality test, and I'm also lanky and awkward. I'm of a creative personality, and I applaud myself for being able to spontaneously make up a storyline that makes no sense as I speak. Apparently, most people I meet think I'm incredibly hilarious–– but let's add the fact that I'm also a genius that lean towards creativity, then you actually get crazy. I mostly get along with people who can make light out of (almost) everything, and I tend not be able to get along with people who can't laugh at themselves.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've never actually done this before, but I'd really like to have the experience. I may not have a reference yet, but I've never been accused of stealing stuff, really!
Whenever I'm traveling, I'd like to experience as much culture as opposed to doing basically things you can do in a lot of countries, so I'd like to get the most of it. I'd like to host guests, but sadly my work schedule may not allow whenever I'm in my hometown; but please ask–– I might have a slow week sometimes.
And let's all be honest here, there are days where we rather not spend on lodging whenever we're traveling.
Interests
I like reading a whole lot.
I like googling about things that I don't know of and get into moderately deep research about it. I don't know why, I just do.
I can wander from one article to another, some of these websites are Jakarta Globe, The Atlantic, Mashable, Buzzfeed, Psychology Today, and so forth.
I cried during the Apollo 11 Landing–– well–– the documentary, as I didn't exist already when that actually happened.
I'm not going to know anything about the pop-culture, but if I happen to know what you're talking about regarding to this matter, I'd feel like the coolest person on Earth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I know this may not be that big of a deal for most people that had done it before, but I'm going to say bungee jumping. I mean–– I just threw myself off the cliff and I just fell right there, it's like a suicide simulator except that you don't really die.

On New Years Eve 2012 in Portland, OR, I went to a house party my friend brought me with and they served jungle juice and hash cookies; being 19 at that time, I got out of control and got too drunk and stoned at the same time. It was 5AM when I decided my friend was not coming out of the bathroom anytime soon. My phone was dead, and I couldn't think straight–– so I thought, what the hell, I'll just walk home. Since it was on a New Years Eve, of course it was Winter and it was freezing at dawn, and I wasn't exactly dressed for Winter with my sequins dress and all.
So I walked under the influence, and found myself in the freeway. Guess I must've looked so confused, and a dude came up to me and asked if I was lost, so I said yes.
"Do you know where you live?"
"Uh, no"
"Well... do you remember your address?"
"Uh, ya, 937 NW Glisan"
"Cool, I'll walk you home–– but only if you'll give me a New Years kiss"
I agreed to that immediately, thinking that I'd rather kiss someone ON THE STREET than being stranded in the sidewalk next to a highway till the next morning in sequins dress. I mean... it's not like I had much choice.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Being a photographer, I can take cool photos of you whenever I'm around. Of course I'll be bringing along my trusty camera on vacation.
I'm also as good of a listener as cab drivers in NYC.
