About Me
HEY !
My name is Aimée (and I hate my name, in french it means "beloved" and I find it hard to carry. Anyway.)
I live in Paris where I'm daily learning foreigners law to give legal support to migrant people. I work with associations or self-organized groups to help migrant people know their rights.
I am strongly interested and personaly involved in feminism (especially ecofeminism), I could say it's the main prisma through which I see the world and everything. Doesn't mean I'm not a kind and smiling woman hehe
I LOVE sports : above all I'm really in love with every watersport (I learned how to swim during 8 years and I feel strongly myself and joyful when I'm in water), I just ran my first marathon in May 2019 (it was awful but I wish I could run one more, then one again,then...) I also like going to the gym, and mountain hiking (I did a few walks in the Alps). I am open to try every sport and I have to confess that I would adore to surf ... it's like a fantasy for me. I tried once but did not really managed to stay up.
Anyway to sum up : I'm kind and looking for kind people, i have lots of energy to discover every place where nature rules, I need sports and sun and water, but I also read a lot, am interested in arts and quite everything. If you have a boat, please bring me with you, I'm desperatly looking for a way to learn for free (or almost? I don't have a lot of money - am a trainee ...) how to SAIL.
Thanks a lot, hope to hear from you soon !
PS : I am a good VEGAN cooker :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I'm very interested in human behaviors, I really want to discover people, not only to have a good time but also to try to understand better people around me, things around me, and of course myself.
I share couchsurfing's principals : I think we really have to discover each other in other cultures in a positive and open-minded mood to become conscious, responsible and comprehensive people.
