My name is Rita Liu. I am 20 years old. I am from Taiwan and a student
of Chengchi University. My major is accounting. I have lived in Taipei city.
As to my personalities, I am outgoing and open-minded. I enjoy outdoor
activities very much. I like to make friends with different people and share
something interesting and knowledgeable with others. In my uni, I have joined
the buddy program which is the program to help exchange students when they have trouble. Through this program, I learned how to solve the problem myself and deal with cultural difference.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never been a backpacker and never leave Asia. This summer, I decide to travel around European through special way. The culture which is so different from the eastern culture attract me a lot. Through couchsurfing, making friends with the locals can help me investigate that culture more easily and share stories about my trip to others.

My favorite TV series are Criminal Minds and House of Cards. My favorite books are the Hunger Game, the Kite Runner, Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer, I had bicycled around Taiwan. During that trip, my friend and I met all walks of life on the road. As I saw many splendid sceneries and landscapes of my hometown, I felt that there were some kind of connections between the people who lived here and the land. We were raised by the nature, and we should use the natural resource appropriately and smartly.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to share some cultural things of my country, for instance, the Chinese food, the spring roll with fortunate Chinese characters and our social customs.
