Overview
About Me
I grew up in a small town on the coast of Norway, in a big family that just keeps growing. Our home has always had an open door so I learned to appreciate living with lots of different people early on.
Traveling became a natural part of that and when I was 16 I left home for a year of high school exchange to The Dominican Republic. That was amazing and also a shock to the system :)
At the moment I live in Oslo, Norway and am halfway through medical school. When I am not studying I work in a travel shop and for WWOOF. In the last four years my way of travel has mostly been through WWOOFing.
In my spare time there are always people to hang out with in Oslo or I'll visit farms in the area, go swimming or just find myself inside a cup of tea watching "Modern Family".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In all the years I've traveled I have been welcomed into so many incredible people's homes. I would love to give back by offering my place. Also now that I am studying full time I don't get to travel as much and it is nice to have the world come here in stead.
I am very open to host, but I share the apt with two roommates so availability will depend on what's going on here.
And of course when I do travel I love having locals show me which barista give you the best coffee for your buck!

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite music is hard to say.. I love hearing my friends play. But Alanis Morissette has been played more than most. Tom Waits, Bon Iver, José Gonzalez.
Movies, my favorites keep changing. At the moment I really enjoyed "Wild". Others are "Little Miss Sunshine" and "Secret Life of Bees".
Books "Wild Swans" Jung Chang, "Hunger" Knut Hamsun and currently I am reading "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time" Mark Haddon .
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Starting WWOOF Norway has been an amazing experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
