Overview
About Me
I'm Alexandre, from a small town from the south of Brazil. I grew up with 2 older sisters and a younger brother.
I'm soon to be married, and we have 2 cats, names Mei and Kin (short for Anakin). I've been working as a software development consultant in a great place here in Porto Alegre, and I'll soon take on a challenge to move to Sweden with my soo-to-be wife.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The usual, meeting new people and learning more about places and customs that I would from staying at hotels or hostels.
I admit that accepting to stay in the home of a stranger from the internet is a little bit scary, but I have so many friends that did CS and say lots of good things about it, so I would like to try it out.
Interests
I like games, both computer and board games.
I also enjoy music a lot, attending a concert or playing some piano or (badly) playing some guitar.
Learning new things is a great motivator for me, be it about places, history, society, the universe. There's a reason I went to get a B.S. degree in physics, and that is sheer curiosity.
I enjoy having discussions about all these topics and more. Marcela complains that I don't talk a lot (I'm an introvert, after all), but sometimes I get exited about a subject and I have to watch out to not talk other's people ears off.
