About Me

I am a 27 years old italian boy graduate in linguistic mediation studies. I spent all my life in my hometown Palermo, but had the luck to visit many amazing countries - unfortunately only in Europe yet - and to be Erasmus student for two times: once in Leipzig (Germany), once in Wroclaw (Poland). Both experiences offered me new ways of seeing things, a new positive mindset and gave me the opportunity to meet wonderful people and discover new cultures, languages, traditions, customs and modes of behaviour. Currently living in the beautiful city of Berlin

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on CS because it gives me the chance to meet international people and speak different languages. I like to talk about every topic and love to learn new things, as well as to observe different ways of thinking.

Interests

I am deeply interested in many sports activities: football, kayaking, sailing, voleyball, swimming, body building, etc.
I also like to chill out in a park or simply go and grab a beer with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: The Beatles, Blink-182, Manà, the Kooks, James Blunt, Bob Marley, Lucio Battisti, Vasco Rossi etc.
Movies: The green mile, The Intouchables, home alone, Cinema Paradiso, Blow, The best offer etc.
Books: The unbearable lightness of being, il vecchio e il mare, io non ho paura etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I stayed awake for around 30 hours ( a great company and a couple of coffes have been the key to success! :) When I got back home, I lost the balance because of the tireness and hit my head on the window. Then, I decided to go and sleep :D
- I went on a road trip from Wroclaw to Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest with some friends. It was a lot of fun.
- During my internship as native language teacher at the University of Wroclaw:
I was still quite tipsy after a night out but decided to go to the 8 a.m. italian language class anyway. I didn't sleep at all, just took some energy drinks and that class has been the funniest I've ever given!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some games or some italian words or I can simply show you how to cook some dishes.
I'm interested in learning any cultural aspect or interesting word of your language.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am more than happy to share my time and culture with guests who are looking for chats, fun, good sense of humour and a bit of craziness (it has never killed nobody ;)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Malta, Poland, Scotland, Slovakia, Spain
