As a host, I'm a Spanish living in Finland for already 8 years. I work here during the day and I'm also single at the moment. I live in the center of Lahti in a 56 sq. m. apartment and I have a car also. I'm very social and easy going. I like tidiness, so I don't appreciate guests having their stuff all over the place, but I'm also quite a reasonable guy and a very relaxed funny character. I like cooking but I love most when people teach me different recipes while drinking some wine and chatting.

As a traveler, I most appreciate just to hang out in a certain area and learn what it means to live there, not to visit frenetically all kinds of museums and monuments, but to just see the center, eat and drink something, see how people and houses look like in that place, take a few pictures and enjoy my time in the most relaxed and enjoyable way possible. I smoke some times but not definitely in my home and even less in somebody else's home. I like to keep my things clean and tidy everywhere I go.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I decided to join Couchsurfing to be able to get to know new people and make friends from all over the world, learn new cool stuff and get to know different cultures in an easy and comfortable way.

I also like to travel through out Europe by car, so I would like to profit from this amazing community and visit different countries getting to know different places saving also from expensive hotels as I need to put that money into petrol and learning about different cultures as I mentioned earlier. Also because staying at somebody's home gives you so much richer experience from visiting another country that staying in a hotel.

Intereses

I do some photography, I practice some sports especially outdoors, I love driving around in my cabriolet, cook some nice meal and drink some wine while enjoying an interesting conversation, I also like to watch movies.

Música, películas y libros

I mostly listen to different kinds of electronic music, some softer kinds of rock and classical music and opera are also within my repertoires.

I like all kinds of movies with exception of horror movies. I like Spanish, French, British and American movies the most.

I read every now and then, but usually books that help me improve my professional or personal skills. I do sometimes also some novels, but very rare times.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I managed to find a great job and have an independent pretty comfortable life in Finland running away from unemployment and low salaries in Spain in a very early stage of my life, without hesitation or looking backwards to regret anything, learning Finnish fluently and adapting to this culture almost too well. To me that is the most amazing thing I've done in my life.
