About Me

I am an open person, easy to talk to and start an interesting conversation. I like to travel, meet new people, and get immersed into their culture.
I have lived 2 years in the Netherlands where I met there a lot of nice intercultural friends. I also lived 1 year in Sweden (in the lovely island of Gotland!!) and I learned how important is to remember the closing time of Systembolaget!! ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people, having a nice conversation and exchanging points of view. One can learn a life-changing advice from a train conversation! I also like to get to know the place/city I'm visiting from a local point of view. I love showing Barcelona around to my visitors, and I always try to show them those hidden places they will find interesting but that they won't find on a tourist guide :-)

Interests

I like photography, politics, astronomy, anthropology, nature, I love hiking and mountain sports. I swim, bike, and play any group sports for the fun of it: being from Barcelona doesn't make me a professional football player!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music: Damien Rice, Janelle Monae, Ben Howard, Ass Trio, Guns'n Roses, Fat Boy Slim, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Belle & Sebastian, AC/DC, Bob Dylan... the list goes on! Big fan of songs with meaning, singer-songwriters, rock, and energetic funky to move the body!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycling downhill from Khardung-La to Leh, in the Indian himalayas, starting at almost 5.600 m high on the highest motorable road in the word. It took me 5 hours to cycle down though a quiet, breathtaking landscape 8-)
