About Me

Hi! I was born a military baby so I've been all over before I even had a choice, and now I'm a grown-up and I keep moving! I've been described as very easy-going, extremely friendly and approachable, and I love a great witty joke! I love food. I love cooking even more. I am a seamstress and costume coordinator for the university in town, working with the theater department full time, and I love every minute of it! Anything else you wanna know, feel free to ask me anything

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always heard great things about it, and have always wanted to say I've tried it. Plus, there's nothing like sharing some good stories with new friends :)

Interests

Sewing! Laughing, traveling, (duh). Really great food. MUSIC AND DANCING. I am interested in gardening, but as it turns out, I'm not so great at it. Also, I really really love good people. (and people watching at the mall)

Music, Movies, and Books

My music is all across the board: so the last three songs that were played on my ipod on shuffle: (currently) Glass Animals, Yann Tiersen (on repeat for days), and Smashing Pumpkins (call me weird- whatever, I love Billy Corgan's poetry) I also love Elvis and the Yeah Yeah Yeah's quite a bit. Movies: The Life Aquatic, The Fifth Element (life changer), Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Up, BoxTrolls, Joe Dirt, The Labyrinth... Books: Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, One Hundred Years of Solitude, the Count of Monte Cristo...ummm. poetry and if we're talking about comics: Tank Girl and X-Men

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

rode (steered) a gold tandem bike 30 miles across Manhattan and crossed the Brookyn Bridge (in the rain) for the Wounded Warrior Project...

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not entirely sure what this box means, but I love good design, art, and can cook really great polish and thai food : )
