Overview
About Me
You can call me Tré. I'm a 21-year-old American studying International Affairs at East Tennessee State University, currently trying my hand in the field of International Education Exchange. I was born in Boone, North Carolina, but I've lived in many cities across the southern United States including Norfolk, Virginia and Nashville, Tennessee. But, for whatever reason, I chose to go to University in the middle of nowhere, Tennessee. Nonetheless, I making my way, meeting new people, and learning new things. Now it's just a matter of trying to turn that into a future for myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For the next few weeks, I'll be solo backpacking Europe for the second time. I just finished an internship with the German-American Fulbright Commission in Berlin, and now I just want to travel as much as I can before I start my final semester as an undergraduate.
Interests
I'm an avid soccer fan. I like various American and European clubs and other international teams, besides the USA. Other than football, my three favorite things are hiking, cartoons, and my cat. Hiking lets me get lost in relaxing moments, cartoons bring back the nostalgia of the younger simpler life, and my cat is just another one of the guys (though I love dogs too).

Music, Movies, and Books
Books. I don't read much but I have a few interesting favorites, including "Orphan Master's Son."
Movies. Sci-fi's, Horror, Comedies, Indie Films, whatever's entertaining.
I'm not that picky.
MUSIC! I listen to so much music! Many many artists, genres, and styles. It would be way too much to add on here. But my top genres would have to be rap, soul, indie/folk, and dub step. I do like a little bit of bluegrass, but country music has to be my LEAST favorite genre.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, for one I've never lived in one place for more than 3 years. Definitely a blessing, not curse. I feel my best when I'm on the road.
Hiking in the Tatras Mountains in southern Poland is still probably my most favorite hike.
Backpacking in general! Being able to leave home for months with nothing but a little money and whatever you can fit into a 30-40 liter backpack. Backpackers are amazing!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Genuine conversation, and countless stories of all my learning experiences (good or bad). I love to hear from as many perspectives as possible, so I'm not afraid to talk about politics, religion, or ethnicity if that's what you fancy.
