Overview
About Me
My name is Marco Almazán, I'm 24 years old and I'm a medicine student, singer and explorer.
Medicine student: This is one of the things I love the most, because I get to understand the outstanding human physiology, from the most diminute biomolecule to the amazing harmony of all the cells integrated in tissues working together to create life. I'm interested to acquire the necessary knowledge and habilities to help people to recover from illness and to keep living in this amazing home we call Earth. Being a medicine student has allowed me to be part of IFMSA (International Federation of Medical Students Associations) where I have been able to do scientific research, volunteering in free health services and even take part in an exchange in a hospital in Poland as a clinical clerkship and at the moment I'm studying in Spain). Right now I'm doing my medical internship at the Mexican Red Cross.
Singer: Almost my whole live is about singing, I sing every hour of every single day and I've done it since I can remember. I can assure that there has been no day of my life in which I had not sung. I've participated in lots of contests and concerts and that is one thing I want to do always.
Explorer: I was a scout for about 12 years and thanks to that I've traveled around my country and even to another one (Ecuador) and I've learned to survive in the wildness, to build wood shelters on the trees and other things too, but what I enjoyed the most was that it used to feed my hunger of adventure. Now I'm more interested in traveling around the world and get to know as many places, people and culture as I can, so my adventure instinct can be satiated.
