About Me

They say wisdom is born with white hair, and since I already have quite a few of them, I guess that's kind of cool ;)
But hey, hair is a boring subject, what's up with you? How's life? What are your interests and passions? I'd like to meet you and discover your culture! I'm sure we'll have plenty of thoughts and stories to share :)

PHILOSOPHY

Make the world a better place by being a better person every day. Don't let yourself be put down by anything because life is absurd and wonderful in every way. Don't judge people and be generous of your time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe the best way to discover a new country is through social interactions with local people, and what better way to do that than by Couschsurfing! Experiencing different lifestyles is my idea of a fun and fulfilling trip! I'm very respectful and tidy and I can adapt to pretty much anything (I'll sleep on the floor if necessary ;) )

Interests

I studied classical piano so talking about music is always fun. I like following what's up in the world in general. I also enjoy sports and the great outdoors (squash, badminton, frisbee, hiking, biking). Chatting around a coffee or a beer and pretending to be a political analyst :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Motorbiking solo in Vietnam. I left from Saigon and drove all the way up to Hanoi and even farther to the vietnamese North Pole (Lung Cu). It was one of the greatest things I've done in my life so far. I met so many generous people along the way and the beauty of the northern mountains was such that it brought me to tears.

Staying up all night in Prague to be the first to see the gorgeous sunset on Charles Bridge. I was with two people from the hostel I stayed in and we all got a cold for sitting around outside so long.

A week-long hike on a section of the Appalachian Trail. 10 hikers, 3 tents and an impressive amount of dehydrated food. Everyone bonded in a special way and the amazing scenery was breathtaking!

Teach, Learn, Share

Music (hopefully I'll have room to travel with my melodica), friendship, languages (french, english), homemade poutine, pancakes with maple syrup (duh!)

What I Can Share with Hosts

My friendship and good humor, and hopefully maple syrup too!

You can also borrow my bike to go visit the city if you like. It's nothing too fancy, but it'll get you around.

Countries I’ve Visited
