I've been living in Budapest for 6 years, I came here to study biology and now I am currently doing a PhD in neuroscience. Previously I could not really participate in hosting people as I lived in a dormitory but finally I could afford to rent a flat on the Buda side.

I like talking about musics and films, do some sports (football, climbing, hiking, running), listen to or playing music. I'd like to hear the experiences and thoughts of other people, especially from a different culture!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I haven't lived in an other country, my knowledge about other cultures is quite limited. Meeting people from other countries would be a great opportunity to know a little bit more about the other parts of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I grew up on the big ones of rock music, like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Guns N Roses (I'm a huge Slash fan). I like progressive music (Dream Theater, Karnivool) as well as single guitarists (Joe Satriani), and smoother musics with jazz or blues elements too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Renting a car with eight of us and traveling all over North-Italy, sleeping every day in a different city and playing street music where the laws allowed it... or we thought so...

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been playing on electric guitar for 7 years so I could teach you some good songs, chords, solos or just the basics of playing on the guitar or music theory. And I would learn some flamenco style things because I'm not good in that type of playing.
I like hiking, I can lead you on some excursions near to Budapest

Of course I can share with you the culture, traits and history of Hungary - we have a very original and twisting history! And sorry about our prime minister! :)
