Overview
About Me
That's always a tricky part- well, maybe some facts first: I just graduated in a european jazz program and I am a musician. More precisely, I play drums, some piano, compose and arrange music. Here's a little introduction:

I had the opportunity to study in Germany, the Netherlands, France and Denmark and am really open to explore things I don't know yet.
Besides music, I am into arts (rather modern, especially Surrealism), I love cycling and exploring countries through doing cycling trips, I love reading but can't really figure out some preferences here yet. Oh, lately I also got more into languages. I can be interested in almost everything if its shared with honesty and passion. I can also enjoy silence and don't always have to talk.
One information: Until September I cannot offer hosting since I am traveling. Then I will move to Berlin and am up for hosting again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One thing that I always found difficult as a student is that you easily hang with people doing rather the same as you. So I love meeting people with different points of views and interests, especially when you are in another country. If this person is so genuine to offer a bed or if I can offer a couch, its the perfect exchange :) But even without that its so enriching to explore a new city with locals.
Interests
Hmm, not much to add to what I explained earlier. Maybe that I love card games. And beer. And Coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books
Far too hard...and this is always a quite periodical summery. One of my absolute favorite bands is Grizzly Bear. I am also a lot into improvised music and jazz, thinking here of Paul Motian or Brian Blade. I love classical music from early 20th century, especially Ravel.
One of my favorite movies is probably not really known, but its "Heart of Glass" from Werner Herzog. I think its genious and words would not really make sense here. I also recently liked "Victoria" a lot.
As mentioned earlier, I can't really tell you a favorite book. Maybe that I recently liked Kafka.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you drums if you want, haha, or some piano as well.
I am always up for language tandems, even if its on a really basic level.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I always like to help at whatever- cleaning, cooking, making some coffee- stuff like that- you are my host, so I can help!
Patience, open- mindedness, playing your piano if you have one ;)
