Hello everyone!

My name is Markéta. I am currently studying in Brno, Czech Republic, but I come from small town in Southern Moravia called Valtice.

I am very positive and friendly person and I love to meet new interesting people from different backgrounds. It always ends up with fruitful discussion about any topic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have heard about Couchsurfing for many times and it always seemed to me as a great way to meet new people and discover the country from different point of view than only as a tourist.

Since September I will finally have flat in Brno, where I could let some couch surfer stay, therefore it seems to me as a perfect time to join in now :)

Interests

Obviously I love to travel. It is always great and very enriching experience. My big hobby and also my study field are the international relations and development. I love to do Model United Nations and meet there enthusiastic motivated people.

I also love reading. I can read again and again the Sherlock Holmes stories by Arthur Conan Doyle or the old books by Jane Austen. The Egyptian by Mika Waltari is also my all times favorite.

I also like to sport and play games. But I don not have as much time as I would like to have for that.

I will stop now to keep it short, but I hope I can talk more about my hobbies with the couchsurfers I meet!
