About Me
-- right now my availability for the upcoming weeks is too uncertain to accept guests, sorry if I don't respond --
Already got to know some lovely cool and relaxed folks from the couchsurfing community and - impressed and reinforced by the positive, open minded spirit they all seem to share - finally planning to become an active part of it as soon and often as possible!
While home in Cologne I'm offering my couch to any likeminded world drifter that needs a place to crash - if you like we can go out, grab a beer, visit some places or whatever your plans and my agenda allow!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because of the fascinating people you get to know through this great community! I am planning to couchsurf actively for the first time soon too, meanwhile offering my place to anyone who wants to visit Cologne - maybe you have one or two interesting stories or some good travel advice / experience to share, and if you like I'll gladly show you some of my favorite parts of the city at day and night time!
Interests
Traveling the world, one day in the future maybe singlehanded across the ocean (i love sailing), in the meantime hanging out with friends, making new ones, struggling with my studies and fiddling around with a startup idea. Excited about new technology and innovation, AI/machine learning, going out, music, festivals and concerts, reading, self improvement, meditation, philosophy, quantum physics, exercise, good movies and series, nutrition, ...

Music, Movies, and Books
Strongly influenced by my (nerdy) 90s youth - Cyberpunk, Anime and Metal then, basically everything real / intelligent / raw / stupid / atmospheric / party-able now; indie/punk/rock/singer songwriter/electronic, tv series, nerdy science books and TED talk junkie!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quit my secure job and career to follow my heart by going to university and doing something completely different I'm actually passionate about.
Teach, Learn, Share
Psychology student, experienced tech guy (should you need help with your laptop/phone or something), love to dive into deep discussions and explore ideas, the crazier the better, cooking and talking about nutrition, eager to learn about interesting travel-/life-experiences, cultures, interests, ...
What I Can Share with Hosts
A 2-3-room apartment in a central-ish location of Cologne (Lindenthal, west of the university / uni hospital) with bus and tram right across the street, enough soft / clean / comfy stuff to sleep on / under, Internet, kitchen and washing machine (more details in "my place"). I'm glad to help you getting here and around the city as good as I can (moved here myself just a few years ago)! And if you would like to and my time allows it we can hang out, cook together, hit the city, go sightseeing, partying, work out...
