Hey,

I'm Maurice, almost 30 years old mechanical engineering student from Berlin, Germany. In the beginning I was not into it but now I really like it a lot! Studying helps me to see many things from a different side and I'm thankful for that.

There are a couple of things I really like to do. For example I use my free time to go bouldering. Another big part in my life is my bicycle. I use it every day for short and long distances and it helps me to release superfluous energy or forget my surrounding for a while.

Also there are things like spending time with my friends , go clubbing, enjoy the sun next to one of Berlins lakes or rivers and so on.

Traveling is not part of my everyday life though I still love to go for a trip every other year. Seeing so many different cultures showed me how people around the world live their lifes, how they struggle to get along with may things like everyone dose and what they do to achieve their goals.

Its so important for EVERYONE not just to look at their own problems but also empathise with those of others! I believe its a key to fight racism, fascism and fear from unknown.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its a good chance to meet new interesting people I probably wouldnt meet in my regular life. I also want to share happiness and have a nice time with people from around the world. That's why I love to host people and also being hosted.
