Hallo All friend's, nice to meet you and how are you..?...we are team workers but also people who like to work on their own.I have been living here running a small homestay now I am starting up organic farming, English Village, Art shop creative and recycle focusing on sharing English for local people old & new skills with local youth and women. I am still in the process of renovating the space so I need all the help I can get and you will leave with new knowledge. If you know a skill like laying tiles or carpentry or English skill this would be helpful but if you would like to learn and help i will be doing this soon.i am also building traditional house work for sure. But there is always time for fun and this part of the island has a lot of beautiful natural places to enjoy. I am offering a room to stay and three times meals in a day.I prefer if people stay for long time but thinking about your visa so I cannot limit you that you can enjoy and get a feeling for the project.
Well.. My friend Madi from Luwu, South Sulawesi Indonesia. He is an English teacher in a local school. Why he is be here now... He love teaching and the goals is to help people in local area be able to speak English. He is a big believer in "think globally act locally ".
We are looking for volunteers excited to help local people learning English in our local area. Some of the help will be at local schools, helping the students practice their English, and some help will be outside of the school, helping locals looking to improve their language skills.
it's about being a partner in speaking practice.
We can offer:
A stay at Madi’s home with his lovely little family and meal 3 times a day. There is a good room for you and it must be comfortable for you. You can learn some of the local languages. We speak English, Bahasa Indonesia and buginese.
For transportation, we have a motorcycle and bicycle
We can show you the culture in my local area (and let we tell you something... the people here are nice and really respect the guest who come from abroad. You will feel like a superstar here).
Luwu is a district surrounded by a region, in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, about 300 km from Makassar City. The landscape is very beautiful, filled with rice fields and mountains (it's truly Asia). We are near Pannori Beach and a long, but doable drive from Buntu Matabbing beach. They are both very natural beaches with not too much tourism. Luwu has a lot of beautiful places I'm sure you will enjoy.
It's easy to reach Belopa Luwu. It's located 60 km from Palopo City. There are buses running frequently coming to Belopa Luwu If you need more detailed instructions for transportation, feel free to contact me and Madi

and if you want to come to my village (luwu, Belopa) from Makassar or Hasanudin airport, you may get bus at 7- 10 am or 7 - 10 pm the fee about Bus or Car is Rp:120.000 rupiah.
