About Me
I'm currently unable to host. But we can meet and have a nice time. I must tell you, there's not a lot to do in Montevideo. Don't expect the "great hidden places where locals eat the wonderful local dishes and the amazingly magical pubs and magic oh so much magic". We eat meat. Meat is good. Meat is not expensive but to my current economy it's unaffordable to go eat out, so I can't take you to eat meat. But you can find that on your own with a simple Google search. Nightlife is fun but there aren't many options. Raves are usually amazing but expensive and you need to buy your ticket with time. Pubs are just regular pubs. We can go to pubs with some of my friends. We can go to the Rambla to have a chat. And that's pretty much it. Montevideo is a great, peaceful city to live in, with the right balance between freedom and safety (yes, weed is legal, calm the fuck down, and yes, you can go out and not be murdered but don't act all touristy with a big flashy camera either), but honestly it doesn't have much to offer to tourists. So, expect nothing but walks and maybe a few drinks and laughs.
Ok now to the part nobody ever reads:
I grew up in Uruguay. I've travelled whenever possible and I've lived for a few months in some countries. I am both social and introverted. I need a lot of interaction with people but I also need a lot of time for myself, which is why I love travelling alone and spending hours just walking and taking pictures (a new found passion I've started to try to learn recently), but I also love meeting new people from all over the world and talking for hours, going out and hopefully becoming friends. If you come to stay with me, you have to know that I study and work and I may not have much time to show you around.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find that the people you can meet at the Hostels are very friendly, but you can't usually share much. I want to really get to know new people and their culture. I don't want to just be a tourist, but be part of the places I am going. I feel that hosting is a way of keeping connected with the travelling dynamic. Travellers are almost always interesting and open minded.

Music, Movies, and Books
The music I hear depends on my mood and moment in my life, I've been through so many different stuff it's impossible to tell here hehe. About movies, I prefer independent films, weird and uncommon stuff, but if it's not abismally horrible, I'll watch anything and have fun. With books I've also had many stages, from children's books, a huge Harry Potter stage, then very varied stuff, and I am now hooked up with the classics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Gather up the courage to leave the warmth of my nest to go and see the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well about teaching I could give you a Biology class hehe. Or a Spanish one, which could be really fun. About learning, I find that when a person is passionate about something, whatever in the world it may be, it is very interesting to listen to them and learn about it from them. So whatever you have to teach, I wanna learn it.
I can spend hours in silence or hours talking and getting deep into conversation until we feel like we've deciphered some tiny part of the whole, you know, stuff.
