Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am now checking all the options of travelling that will not ruin me financially ;) Some friends do couchsurfing for some time and it sounds really curious - not because of money, but because of the very interesting people and experiences.

Interests

I like games. I mean sports (doing, not watching), board games, computer games, card games, urban games etc. In particular I like learning (and teaching) new card games during visiting new places.
And of course I like travelling and meeting new people from various cultures.

I listen, watch and read a lot. I could write for a long time about my favorites, but I will do the opposite and choose top of the top.
Music: Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, Mike Oldfield, Korn, Clawfinger.
Movies: Fight Club, Matrix, Usual Suspects, Equilibrium, Once Upon a Time in the West.
Books: Silmarillion, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Witcher, Dune, Discworld in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking Transsiberian from Sankt Petersburg to Irkuck (and then bus to Ulaanbaatar). Very educational trip (Russia is extremaly differentiated between west and east). Also the longest one I took and at the same time the most disorganized :)
