Overview
About Me
I am a humble person getting around the world and learning what I may. I enjoy making music, films, photography, food, conversation and new experiences. I like to think philosophically, seeking truth in things, and love to do this in conversation.
I have a Degree from a Film School, and have worked many different jobs, always moving to find new experiences (and hoping to leave where I left better than it was).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people! and of course to accommodate myself in an alternative way that allows me to engage with my host and share what I may with them. A much more rewarding experience that I'd like to share more of.
Music, Movies, and Books
-
There are so many good ones, and even bad ones can be a valuable experience, so I will just list some experiences of note that come to mind.
-
books - Ernest Hemmingway, A Passage to India, Game of Thrones,
films - Once Upon a Time in Anatolia, Pedro Almodovar, Apu Trilogy, Werner Herzog, David Lean
music - Jazz, Afro Beat, Hip-Hop, Brasilian Music, Flamenco, man the list will go forever, I'm going to make it short.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Meditation.
The practise of training my mind brought so much benefit to my life, that it is the first thing that comes to mind.
But for an single experience I would say......
Riding a motorbike in the Himalayas. I love it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a camera! I can take photos and make videos, if you have any project (or a friend maybe) that could use some promotional material, I can make it for you!
I can also teach guitar, and music in general. And I am good with many kinds of computer software, and am very patient to teach.
I can also cook :) I'm good with children, and animals as well.
