Resumen
Sobre mí
I can't get enough of meeting and getting to know new people, it's one of my absolute favorite things. I'm always up for a new adventure and usually like to challenge myself, but I also love to just sit back and be completely carefree. Even if there are times when I'm a bit quiet and my mind wanders or I just listen, I very much like to talk. The subject doesn't really matter, it's fun to talk about pointless and stupid things, and it's also great to talk about important stuff and life, you know. I find studying medicine really interesting mostly, to help others is something that always gives me meaning and it's fascinating to learn how the body works. But now I'm longing for having the Summer off. I live in the centre of Gothenburg in an apartment with my younger sister, we are really close friends and it's a lot of fun.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
To encounter and learn about life and culture from other perspectives is something truly amazing, traveling is just the best, and it has given me so much. I have a lot of friends who have talked about this site and I think it seems like a great way to meet people I wouldn't have met otherwise.
Intereses
Playing music is a big part of me. I used to play the trombone mostly, I played jazz and swing in two different big bands. But now I sing mostly. I sing in a band with some of my best friends, and I replace our bass player when he's off on mindfulness camps and whatnot. Most our time is spent jamming some mix of funk, jazz, psychedelic rock, punk and pop, yeah we are a bit confused. So we don't really have any fully finished songs at the time unfortunately. (I do have a few acoustic songs that I sing and play myself though).
My friends mean a lot to me, we do all kinds of things together: walk in forests, go clubbing or just hang out doing nothing, trying to figure out life. On winters I love to go skiing and on summers I used to sail a lot (not as much as I'd want anymore).

Música, películas y libros
I listen a lot to 90s indie music from the US, so much that my friends make fun of me. But I really enjoy all kinds of music, 60s folk, world music, hip hop, you name it. Punk rock however, was the first genre I became obsessed with. Now I'd say Joni Mitchell, Arthur Russell and Talking Heads are some of my biggest musical inspirations. For dancing, techno is probably my favorite, but I'm not picky. I also enjoy most kind of movies, but I love all movies by Wes Anderson and Hayao Miyazaki. And I wish I read more... I think Catch 22 is the only book i re-read, because I loved it.
Algo increíble que he hecho
I once met a girl on a wedding in Poland (we have family friends that are Polish) and we drank a lot of vodka and danced and it was so much fun, Polish weddings are great. We realized we had so much in common, so we thought it would be a shame if we never got to see each other again, I was heading back to Sweden the next day. So we decided to travel together to Krakow a couple of weeks later. It was her favorite city so she wanted me to see it. Krakow was such a nice and beautiful city and we got along great wandering it's streets and exploring it together and we became really good friends. That was one of the most spontaneous things I've done, and those unexpected moments, when you can't really tell what's happening, (it might sounds cheesy but it's true) are some of the best in life I think.
