Overview
About Me
I'm a student from Prague, who likes all sorts of outdoor activities and travelling. I spent a semester in the Netherlands, where I started using Couchsurfing. I love animals, books, nature, chocolate and many other things, I am friendly, even if somewhat shy. I love meeting new people, but I don't really enjoy big events, I'd rather meet them one by one :)
The one piece of philosophy I try to live by is "it's better to regret something you did than something you didn't do", and so far it seems to be working out quite well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I somehow found myself travelling alone and I realized, that having company at least part of the time is better. So I tried Couchsurfing, which seems like the ultimate solution! Also, staying with locals seems like a much more authentic way of getting to know the country than "being a tourist".
Until now, I mostly only surfed, because my home at the time was a small dorm room, but now I'm back home so I'm occasionally able to host, too.
Before you send me a request, please be aware that I live around 45 minutes by public transport from the city center. (also, read the My Home section...)
Interests
My interests are many but my time and attention are sparse. You will either find me doing a hundred things I love (reading, cooking, baking, taking long walks, arts and crafts, organizing drawers that will be messy again in a week, climbing or swimming) or I might also spend hours or even days lying around on the couch and drinking coffee waiting for some motivation and energy.

Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Leonard Cohen
Good Will Hunting, V for Vendetta, Star Wars
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One summer, I traveled to the Himalayas as a volunteer to teach at a local elementary school. I met lots of great people and learned much about a culture that is so different from mine.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you basics of Czech, my favourite recipes or maybe some small crafts.
I'd like to learn whatever you have to share - a language, some cool skill or hobby, if you play guitar, I'm open to improvement!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am happy to share anything regarding my culture with anyone interested, also I can offer a chouch stay in exchange, if you ever come to Prague, too! Helping with the dishes, cleanup etc. is without question.
