About Me

Welcome to my profile - nice to meet you :)

I'm a laid back and humorous person who finds happiness in meeting people of other cultures and exploring their countries. Feel free to contact me, I don't bite!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a lot of fun meeting people from different cultures and sharing things.
During my travels, I'm always pretty much on my own but through CS I have found awesome people who hosted me and showed me places, different types of food and welcomed me with their hospitality. I'm so grateful for them!

Interests

are rather versatile. I'm spending quite some time on YouTube each day :D
The Internet and I are great friends!
On analogue terms, I enjoy the occasional reading of books whenever I find the time.
I also enjoy hanging out with friends and being stupid with them ;)
I'm a huge foodie, so if you wanna grab a bite with me, I'm all for it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music + Josy = eternal love -- you can take me anywhere. No matter the music genre. Pop, house, metal, classic, musical, traditional... - I'm in for the eclectic blend.

The types of books I like are mostly fictional ones which consume me entirely. I'm mostly into thrillers and fantasy. Also, I'm a Potterhead. Not the crazy type. Okay, maybe a liiiittle bit.

I'm also very open-minded when it comes to films. My favourites are rom-coms and animated films though :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling around in Norway and the UK during my years abroad in 2007/08 (when I was still in school) and 2012/13 (as part of my studies) and meeting a ton of great people ♥

Also, Oktoberfest 2014. Such a blast! The people from all over the world were just great and so fun to be around with.

Met my French boyfriend during a Couchsurfing meeting in Bangkok! We now live apart from each other because of work but I'm happy to have found love in Thailand ♥

Bathing elephants in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Ate the best sushi in the world in Tokyo, Japan ^_^

Teach, Learn, Share

Does the walker choose the path or does the path choose the walker? - Abhorsen trilogy, Garth Nix (one of my favourite authors)

Follow your dreams and new dreams will follow. You'll never know what you might find.

"You're gonna be happy" said life, "but first I'll make you strong."

What I Can Share with Hosts
