About Me

I am a very friendly South African mechanical engineer. I work In Beypazari Turkey, and study post graduate studies in Pretoria, South Africa. I am looking for life experiences. Learning different languages and cultures makes me very happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am trying to get outside my comfort zone, live my life to the fullest and get as much experiences as possible. Money can come and go but the present is only available now.

Interests

I have no rhythm but I love to dance. Even if I look silly. I like EDM but rock, blues and jazz is food for my soul.

I am not a foodie but I like trying new things. But no more tripe for me, thank you.

I love learning about cultures and how people live.

I can talk for hours about philosophical ideas.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not read much but I liked the Prophet by Khalil Gibran and the Alchemist by Paule Coehlo.

I like artistic movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is really hard to choose one thing. I would just briefly write a few short things so that you can get a better picture of who I am.

The thing I am most proud of is starting a charity society at my university. It is called Engineers Without Borders of University of Pretoria. When I was there we improved the rain water drainage system of a rural school.

I have hiked a short distance to the highest pub in Africa, at Lesotho.

I have volunteered as a assistant nurse.

I have ran from Witbank, South Africa to Middelburg, South Africa.

I will think of more later.
