About Me
Born at the Brazil-Uruguay border. Software developer all my adult life, since 1975. Martial arts fan - mostly Tae Kwon Do and Capoeira. Oddly as it can sound for a 59-years-old man, I'm finishing my Bachelor Degree now. I'm living in United States since August 2014 in an student exchange program. In August 2015 I'll be back to Brazil to graduate.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I lived in Kansas all this year - except for a quick travel to Sant Louis / New Orleans. I'd like to know more of the United States. And do that not just as a tourist, but really meeting American people.
Interests
I do like sports (jogging, biking, etc.), nature, dancing. I also love History and like museums.
I do not drink nor smoke. Since I like to dance, I'm an someone very useful to go out with - you have the driver back home granted! :-)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like music. Period.
I am an omnivorous reader, in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
Movies... well, I like old ones! Matrix, Blade Runner and... Dr. Jivago!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Dancing Samba at Lapa, in Rio de Janeiro.
Having sauna in Copenhagen.
Ride a 125cc bike from Porto Alegre-RS-Brazil to Florianopolis-SC-Brazil - some 600 Km, to spend a week on the beach.
Being a 59-years-old interchange student.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook - of course, mostly Brazilian dishes, but I can also prepare a simple fast meal.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach Brazilian Samba basic steps.
I can teach Capoeira basic movements.
I would say I have a significant knowledge about Brazilian History, and I do like to share it.
