About Me
I am Zoé a French student doing a gap year in several countries: Scotland then New Zealand with my boyfriend and I plan to finish in Ecuator.
I traveled a lot with my parents when we were young and I look forward to do it again on my own... I want to take the opportunity of my gap year to travel with my back pack and my tent, feel free to go wherever I whant, to meet people, to exchange with them and then to discover the real face of the country. It is finaly a little girl's dream that will come true !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To enrich me with people's stories and customs and to visit a country not as a tourist behind the window in my little hostel room but at the fire sharing a hot tea to rebuild the world.
Travelling all this year I won't accept guests because I currently have no home. ^^
Interests
For this gap year I want to hike a lot to discover the countries at the rate of life and to live it .
Music, Movies, and Books
I am reading a lot of books on sustainable development and how it is possible to change in our life customs and our food (I am working in agronomy do not forget it ^^). This travel also a kind of retreat to read and learn about it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Three day hiking with my boyfriend in the Pyrénées mountains in France with our tent, sleeping in wonderfull places, swimming in mountain lakes, knowing the stress of having just 1.5 liter of water for the entire day and also the pleasure to discover a trough for the mountain cows...
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a good camera but do not master photography technics, I hope my tests in the field will start to bear fruits...
I love to do little things with my fingers, papers, colored threads and pearls, so I have some techniques to teach. ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Tea is one of my passions and I have always in my backpack a good tea to share: it is not so heavy on my back and it is so good...
Countries I’ve Visited
Brazil, Egypt, Ireland, Italy, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Spain, Venezuela
Countries I’ve Lived In
French Guiana
