I'm 2 years out of college and really enjoying life so far! I grew up in LA but have lived in Sitka, Alaska for the last two years. It's a super beautiful place and I intend to go back this spring and summer.

I studied architecture and have have a great appreciation for it but don't think I'll become an architect, specifically. I love to draw buildings and consider how they were built. I expect I will work in design, but haven't been trying to build a career so far. At this point I'm prioritizing my friendships and experiences, and learning a wide range of skills by working in many different fields (I've tutored math, worked on a construction crew, worked on fishing boats, and every summer I have a business sharpening knives for Alaskan fishermen)

Right now I'm embarking on a trip to Japan that is very open ended and my goal is to stay traveling until spring if possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couchsurfing after going on a road trip with a friend who knew about it and we stayed with a few hosts, all of whom were amazing and made the trip so much better than it would have been without them! I got to host a few travelers and it was a great experience. Now that I am about to travel in Japan I hope to meet locals and get cool tips on what to do from people who know

I can share cool beach spots, a bike, give a ride to the airport or something else
