About Me

For the moment I'm an exchange-student living in Sweden, Uppsala for a year and really having a blast doing it. I love to socialize and meet new people, going out and travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best things in life are free. That's why the kind hospitality of a stranger beats the fake politeness of a paid hotelservant any day.

Interests

I'm a real running-junkie, momentarily incapacitated by injury, but normally going long distances, preferably on trails in the beautiful Swedish nature. I ran a trailmarathon before and would love to go even further in the future! Also considering to do triathlons soon too.

I have done quite a bit of volunteering in the past, having been involved in several student associations. This always makes for a great time and great friends. Last year I also committed myself to organizing lectures and events to raise environmental awareness in my university.

I recently started to take an interest in cooking and am trying to learn more about it. Being vegan it can be slightly more challenging but its just as tasty!

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love reading and philosophy and especially combining the two! Books like The Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Human Script, and Siddharta do an awesome job at that.
I like my classics too with The Count of Monte Cristo as my all-time favorite and 1984 a close second. Other than that I read some science, more "dry" philosophy, biographies, sports books and more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending 6 weeks in Malaysia raising awareness on environmental issues in an AIESEC internship.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can talk for days about all of the above but if that doesn't interest you in the slightest, we can still talk about a common interest I'm sure you have too: travelling! In this we can surely teach and learn from eachother and share some wonderful stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Perhaps I can cook for you!
