About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make this exchange semester unforgettable.
PHILOSOPHY
The love you take is equal to the love you make!
ABOUT ME
I'm a brazilian guy who has a lot to learn, but with tons of curiosity. I grew up in São Paulo but moved to Rio de Janeiro about two years ago. I study Journalism in a public university and I'm constantly changing my opinions about everything (and that's a good thing for me). I like movies and cheap chatting. In short, I'm a typical 20something who likes music, pop culture, photography, TV shows and movies. I'm living in Stockholm since August/2015 and taking classes about Swedish Cinema at Stockholms Universitetet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm interested in traveling through Europe while I'm studying in Stockholm (for a year). However, my friends always told me that the "hotel experience" is too lonely, and you don't soak up the culture the same way if you meet someone who's been living in the city you're visiting. All of my exchange friends recommended me Couchsurfing and that's why I'm here.
Interests
I know this is a big cliché, but I love talking about movies. I like food and discoveries. I really like to talk while walking. If you want specyfics, I love The Office and Friends. Tina Fey is my hero. I'm also very interested in History.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lykke Li, Sia, Mumford and Sons and Florence + the Machine are my favorite singers/bands. I also love Frank Ocean and Sufjan Stevens. I'm pretty eclectic.
I haven't read too many books, but I love Bossypants by Tina Fey, the Millenium trilogy by Stieg Larsson and The Messenger by Markus Zusak.
If I have to name a favorite movie, it would be Little Miss Sunshine. I like Up! from Pixar and simply ADORE Atonement, by Joe Wright. I also like TV shows... I'm a big fan of The Office and everything Tina Fey did/does.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, I guess my most impressive achievement was moving to Rio de Janeiro, alone, when I was 17. My parents gave me some money through this time, but it was very new for me to live in a big city after growing up in a small, simple town.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach portuguese! I can learn literally EVERYTHING. I can share tales about my country, my experiences through Europe and maybe a little gift... I can't cook, unfortunately. My only specialty in the kitchen is brigadeiro (a brazilian candy) and spaghetti at carbonara. Yummy!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a good spirit, respect and care. I can share my mind and some experiences. I can share my room back in Stockholm. It has space and warmth.
